Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD)
Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD)
The Building Safety Act 2022 introduced the statutory role of the Building Regulations Principal Designer, responsible for planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating the design process to help ensure compliance with the Building Regulations.
At Fusion Building Consultancy, we support clients in meeting their legal duties under the Building Regulations 2010 (as amended) by providing experienced BR PD services across a wide range of sectors and project types.
As a multi-disciplinary consultancy, our BR PD team is supported by specialists in building surveying, fire safety, health and safety, project management, compliance and construction consultancy. This collaborative approach enables us to identify compliance risks early, provide practical solutions and add value throughout the project lifecycle.
We work closely with clients, designers, Principal Contractors and Building Control to coordinate the design process, review compliance, facilitate communication between dutyholders and help ensure statutory responsibilities are fulfilled from concept through to completion.
